The rectangular gold case, designed to hold a stick of wax, of reeded design and terminating at each end with a turquoise or carnelian intaglio and with rose-cut diamond detail, circa 1895, 7.4 cm long, with St. Petersburg assay mark for 14k gold (pre 1896)
