According to Gorham's archives as reproduced by Larry Pristo in Martelé 950-1000 Fine Gorham's Nouveau Art Silver, p. 295, Bowl DVE was completed on 29 October 1902, with a net factory price of $100. The bowl was raised by silversmith Charles A. Johnson in 20 hours and then chased for an additional 45 hours by Ernest W. Regester.
