Allin Braund was born in Devon. He studied and then taught at Hornsey College of Art, particularly design and printmaking and his pupils included Allen Jones. His lithographs were shown in the 1954 British Pavilion at the Venice Biennale alongside the work of Henry Moore and Eduardo Paolozzi. He went onto have many exhibitions at home and abroad and his work is now in many public collections including the V&A and The Museum of Modern Art in New York.
