Notes

Alfred Georges Hoen studied at the
Ecole des Beaux-Arts where he was
a pupil of Gme. Hoen exhibited
annually at the Salon des Artistes
Frans from 1910 until 1954.
He principally painted still lifes
and seascapes. Later in his career
he was a well-known society
portrait painter in France and the
United States.
