A young lady called Madame Bouclier, in décolleté black velvet dress with puffed sleeves and white underdress, her centre-parted fair hair tied in rolls; red curtain and landscape background
signed and dated 'Lizinka de Mirbel 1840' (mid-right)
on ivory
rectangular, 4 3/8 x 3 9/16 in. (111 x 91 mm.), cast gilt-metal frame
