Henry Hope Pinker was a highly regarded Victorian portrait sculptor. Three examples are held by The National Portrait Gallery, two of which are plaster examples. Perhaps Hope Pinker's best known work is of Charles Darwin, sculpted in Caen stone and on display at The Oxford University of Natural History. Other well known public commissions include that of W.E Forster in the Eastern Victoria Embankment Gardens.
