Bronze and Ivory Figure of a Woman Reading, cast in a long, flowing dress, her head bent in concentration reading the small book in her hands, raised on a square bronze base, signed to back corner "A. Clerget" and stamped "SOIT.PARIS," ht. 13 in.

Condition Report

Shrinkage cracks to ivory. Neck and head ivory joined loosely by a single rod extending down the body, cracks and loss around joint between rod and ivory. Scattered very slight areas of verigris to lower folds of the dress.
