ADRIANO MANOCCHIA (American, 1950-) WHITE TAIL DEER BELOW MT. KATAHDIN.Outstanding oil on canvas realistic scene shows five large deer grazing in marsh grasses with a backdrop of Mt. Katahdin in Baxter State Park. The foreground has a stream running through the grass with bright blues. Signed lower left. Also signed and dated "1990" on reverse. Housed in a modern molded wood frame with linen and gold liner. This painting was commissioned by the Sportsman's Alliance of Maine and presumably was used in their promotional material.
