Adolphe Jourdan painting (French, 1825-1889), mother and child in a garden, signed lower left "A Jourdan", oil on canvas, 31 x 24-1/4 in.; early 20th century carved and gilt wood frame. Two periods of restoration, older retouch at faces, arms, chest of woman and in area of flaking around all edges, lined, crackle, cupping, cleavage, flaking mostly at edges, areas of overcleaning; frame with abrasions.
