Notes

Adolf Brütt studied at the Berlin Academy before moving to Munich where he became part of the Munich Secession. Brütt won a gold medal in the Paris Exposition Universelle of 1900. A larger bronze version of his Schwerttänzerin is in the Kiel Rathaus.
