potted in the form of a section of bamboo, finely carved in high-relief with two boys riding oxen followed by a suckling calf, one boy riding backwards flying a kite, all set within a rocky landscape along the banks of a river grown with bamboo, the base inscribed with a four-character seal and signed Chen Guozhi, applied overall in an egg-shell white glaze
