Description

A well engineered model of the W A Coomber rotary live steam engine, built by Mr V E Judd of Ickenham from 'Brunnell Models' castings. The original engine was designed by W A Coomber of Birmingham in 1876 and was re-designed for model engineering by Tubal Cain. The central revolving cylinder set in an eccentric ring supporting speed governor with linkage to steam shut off valve,spoked flywheel with fitted drive pulley. The model is finished in red, blue and green paintwork being set on a polished mahogany plinth. 26cm high by 18cm wide including plinth.
