A STRING OF EIGHTEEN ARCHAISTIC JADE
CONG-FORM BEADS

Late Qing Dynasty

Each carved in the form of a three-tiered
cong cylinder, the square-section corners with incised notches, a circular neck at either end, pierced with a central aperture, the stone stained in various tones of brown.


Each bead approximately 3/8in (1cm) long

Overall in good condition. Minor surface pitting and wear. Stones altered to induce colors and textures for the appearance of antiquity.
