A SLEEK GEORGE HUEY MERGANSER. This red crested merganser, in very sleek form is typical from the wonderful folk art creations by a Friendship, Maine carver. The head is angled slightly to the left, the eyes are carved and the head is inletted into the body. Retains old paint. SIZE: (approx.) 18-1/2" l. CONDITION: Generally good. 9-94631 (3,500-5,500)
