A silver-mounted overlaid and etched glass vase
the silver base marked Fabergé with the Imperial warrant, St. Petersburg, 1896-1908, the glass by the Imperial Glass Factory, period of Nicholas II, 1900

The circular shaped base formed as a branch with five leaf feet and further leaves entwined around the blue and white frosted glass body, overlaid and engraved with green leaves and a red flower bud, marked on silver base and under base of glass
10¾ in. (27.4 cm.) high

David Perlman (1882-1987) was born in Musch, Russia. He left the Russian Army in 1905 for Sweden, from where he moved to the United States of America in 1907. The family returned to Scandinavia in the 1908.

A similarly mounted glass vase of floral design, the mount marked Fabergé, workmaster's mark of Julius Rappoport, St. Petersburg, circa 1896, the glass by Callé, Nancy, 1896, is in the Hermitage Museum, St. Petersburg, inv. no. 23412.
