Marked K. Fabergé, with the workmaster's mark of Anders Nevalainen, St Petersburg, 1899-1904, scratched inventory number 9358
Square, the cut glass inkwell on four paw feet, the mounts and collar with anthemion and foliate decoration, the hinged cover set with a silver coin dated 1724 depicting Emperor Peter I, with removable liner, set on a porphyry base with four bun feet and ribbon-tied reeded border, marked on bezel and under rim of base
7 in. (17.8 cm.) wide
