marked Fabergé with the Imperial warrant, workmaster's mark of Julius Rappoport, St. Petersburg, 1896-1908
Circular, on four paw feet, the elaborately decorated silver stand with floral and fruit festoons to the stepped and domed foot, with strapwork band, the urn-shaped body with two griffin handles and a scroll and strapwork blank escutcheon to each side, between foliate and beaded bands, supporting the scallop edged cut-glass dish, marked on base and stem
