the largest of rectangular bombe form, the removable covers surmounted by twin seated Mandarin figures and embossed with landscape vignettes, the body with two heavily embossed foliate scroll panels, centred by monogram cartouches to sides, the end panels similarly embossed with classical ruins and figures, all raised on scroll and shell supports, the smaller pair similar but with a bird to lid and alternative characters to end panels, contained within original fitted shagreen casket, foliate scroll swing handle and mounts, raised on ball & claw feet, height largest 14cm smaller 13.5cm, length largest 9cm smaller 8cm, weight approx 28oz.
