CHARLES ROBERTSON (IRISH, C. 1760-1821) A pair of miniatures of a young lady and a gentleman; she, in white dress, rope of pearls and falling gauze veil in her long upswept hair falling over her left shoulder and he, in red coat with green collar, gold-bordered cream-coloured waistcoat and lace cravat, powdered wig en queue ; together with a young lady in turquoise dress, turquoise bandeau in her long upswept and curled hair falling to her shoulders; together with a young gentleman in green coat and waistcoat, white stock and lace cravat, powdered wig en queue (by Richard Crosse, circa 1780) ovals, 1 3/8 in. (35 mm.), 1 7/16 in. (36 mm.), 1¼ in. (31 mm.), 1 7/16 in. (37 mm.) high, respectively, gilt-metal frames (4)
