A vide pôche of very similar design and nearly the same size was made by Jean Henri Riesener for Queen Marie Antoinette for her cabinet at the Château de Saint-Cloud and is now in the Musée Nissim de Camondo; see Nadine Gasc and Gérard Mabille, Le Musée Nissim de Camondo, Paris, 1991, p. 38.
