Born in Kent, 1965, Bill Prickett's work is an unusual mixture of interests and life experiences. Intent on working with animals from an early age, at 17 his first job was as a dolphin trainer at Windsor Safari Park. His work took him all over the world and encompassed a variety of activities from working with killer whales and sealions to expeditions in Australia, Congo and Borneo. At one point Bill was taken on by the Queensland National Parks authority to help capture a large salt-water crocodile which was causing problems in an aboriginal community. He has also worked in Hawaii studying humpback whales, and in Scotland helping with research on echo location in dolphins.
