A large Victorian bronze mantle clock, late 19th century, style of Sir Joseph Edgar Boehm (1834-1890), the neo classical style case modelled as a female figure gesturing to a child holding an open book, a Greek style head rests beneath, the Roman numeral enamelled dial bearing maker's mark of Milroy Fres & Fils, Paris, the clock face surrounded by stylised flowers, the front panel depicting a neo classical scene of winged putto, within shaped surround, the clock on an ovoid marble base, width 59 cm.
