Each oval, in rectangular velvet frame, two portraits of Elizabeth Petrovna (1709-1762) wearing the Imperial crown and the order of St. Andrew, and a further four female portraits with unidentified sitters, two dressed as Diana the Huntress, two portraits of Catherine I (1684-1727) and Peter the Great (1672-1725), unfinished, all by de Sompsois, a portrait of Francis I of Austria (1708-1765), after Liotard, a portrait of William V of Orange (1748-1806) and another of an unidentified gentleman, both by unknown artists, apparently unmarked, each glazed in gilt frame
