Railway , the reverse engraved with numerous signatures and applied with enamel plaque dated 1894-1901, 56 standard height including loop: 55mm

Caduceus is a short staff entwined by two serpents surmounted by wings. In Roman iconography it was often depicted being carried in the left hand of Mercury, a god of trade, and because of this association caduceus also became recognised as a symbol of commerce and negotiation.
