La Mort de Duc de Clarence (The Death of the Duke of Clarence), depicting the combat of the Duc de Clarence and Garin de Fontaine with ivory jousts and swords, having an enameled shield with lapis, ruby, and garnet inset accents raised on a naturalistic base further set on a black marble plinth, signed tag reading Par Le Comte de Nieuwerkerke, 1858, plinth bearing tag reading Salon des Baux-Arts.
