Lot 261: A French Art Nouveau medallist pendant by Frederic

A French Art Nouveau medallist pendant by Frederic de Vernon, depicting a girl reading entitled 'Studium', the reverse with flaming torch and laurel, signed F. Vernon with French poincon marks Frederic Charles Victor de Vernon (1858-1912), had studied at the Ecole des Beaux Arts in Paris and became one of the major medallist jewellers.
