A FABERGÉ SILVER AND TRANSLUCENT ENAMEL PHOTOGRAPH FRAME, WORKMASTER JOHAN VICTOR AARNE, ST. PETERSBURG, 1899-1904

rectangular, enameled translucent apple green over a guilloché ground and applied with swags of ribbon-tied acanthus leaves, with later holly wood border and back, also with later silver ribbon-bow at the top, marked behind the wood back inside on two silver-gilt flanges with Cyrillic workmaster's initials and 88 standard with assay-master's initials of Yakov Lyapunov. Containing an original photograph of Grand Duchesses Olga, Tatiana, Maria and Anastasia.
