Mark of Johannes Schiotling, Amsterdam, 1790, also struck with later Dutch duty mark of 1795 for Amsterdam
The kettle tapering cylindrical and with an overhead part-wood reeded handle, the shoulder engraved with a band of foliage scrolls below a beaded border, the stand on three beaded scroll legs with bun feet, with a pierced scroll and bead border and a central lamp, marked under kettle, under stand, the lamp with worn marks
