Artist or Maker

Notes

William James Bradford served with the Madras Artillery during the Indian Mutiny, and was present at the battles of Chanda (19 February), Sultunpore (23 February), Dorehna (2 March), Lucknow (2-16 March), Oosinghur (11 April), Jugdespore (May and June), Dhondeakerah (23 November), Chandah (26 December), Madjodiah (27 December) and Pooranee (31 December 1858). He advanced to Lieutenant-Colonel in July 1870, and died In Kamptee in November 1877.
