文同，字與可，號笑笑居士、笑笑先生，人稱石室先生。著名畫家、詩人。宋仁宗皇佑元年進士，曆官知州或知縣，世人稱文湖州。他與蘇軾是表兄弟，以學名世，擅詩文書畫，深為文彥博、司馬光等人贊許，尤受其從表弟蘇軾敬重。

柯九思，字敬仲，號丹丘生，別號五雲閣吏。柯九思素有詩、書、畫三絕之稱。為奎章閣鑒書博士（正五品），專門負責宮廷所藏的金石書畫鑒定。經他鑒定收入內府的有王獻之《鴨頭丸》、虞世南臨《蘭亭序》、楊凝式《韭花貼》、蘇軾《寒食帖》等。
