Karl Opfermann Röding 1891 - Ahrensburg 1960 , A bronze sculpture 'Mother with child', Hamburg, around 1930. Bronze with dark patina, H. 53 cm, on wooden plinth (H. 4 cm, 30 x 19 cm), sign. 'Karl Opfermann'., Sculptor and graphic artist, after trained as ornament creator he studied in Hamburg with R. Luksch, 1919 he joined the Berlin 'Novembergruppe' and the Hamburger Sezession.
