A BLUE AND WHITE 'CRACKED-ICE AND PRUNUS' DISH

Kangxi encircled six-character mark to the base and of the period

Painted in shaded tones of cobalt-blue with a gnarled branch of prunus blossoms against a 'cracked-ice' ground, the cavetto plain, the everted rim and underside with prunus flowerheads floating on 'cracked-ice', a band of loosely painted leaf lappets rising from the foot.


8 1/8in (20.6cm) high

Generally, in good overall condition. A few iron-spots, foot nibbles, and minute air bubble pinpricks but unobtrusive.
