** Bright Star Antiques New Payment Policy**
We are now using WayPay through Auction Zip. You will still have the chance to make payment with us but after 4 days we have the right to process your payment via WayPay. Again you will have the chance to pay with your desired payment method.
Bright Star Antiques Co. Does NOT Ship, We will help with contacts but shipping is up the the buyer.
It is important to Bright Star Auction Co. that all bidders understand the terms and conditions under which its auctions are conducted. Please carefully read the Conditions of Sale set forth below and then acknowledge your understanding and acceptance.
All prospective buyers are strongly advised to examine any property which they are interested in before the auction takes place. All items are available for viewing during auction preview hours.
2. The highest bidder acknowledged by the auctioneer shall be the purchaser. The Gallery reserves the right to reject any bid. The auctioneer shall advance the bid at his/her sole discretion. The auctioneer in his/her sole discretion may determine to re-offer any lot in dispute. In the event of any dispute, the Gallery record of the bids shall be accepted as conclusive.
3. The Gallery reserves the right in its sole discretion at any time before bidding commences to withdraw combine or divide any lot.
4. At the fall of the auctioneer's hammer, title will pass to the highest bidder, and the bidder thereupon assumes full risk and responsibility for the property, including the obligation to immediately pay the full price plus commissions and taxes.

Visa, MasterCard, Money Orders, cash, bank or certified checks, or Texas personal checks drawn, are acceptable forms of payment, and property may be immediately picked up or shipped. Personal checks drawn on non-Texas banks are acceptable; however, property may not be picked up or shipped until the 11th day following receipt of the check. In Bright Star's sole discretion, a sale may be nullified if payment is not received from the buyer within 15 days of the auction close.
Bright Star does not provide shipping services, buyers are responsible for shipping arrangements, and any/all shipping charges are the responsibility of the buyer. Bright Star will assist the buyer by supplying the name of local shipping companies. It is the buyer responsibility to make all arrangements.
A Texas sales tax (8.25%) will be applied to all sales, unless the property is being shipped to a state other than Texas, or the property is purchased for resale under a proper State resale number, or other legal exemption. Property that is picked up in person is subject to Texas State sales tax.
The property is sold in "as is,where is" condition and without recourse, and neither the Gallery nor the consignor makes any representations or warranties, express or implied, as to catalogue description, attribution, authenticity, provenance, origin, size, age or condition of any of the property offered for sale. It is the responsibility of the purchaser, prior to the auction, to examine the property and make a determination as to the value, condition, description, authenticity, provenance, origin, size and age of the property.

Due to limited storage space for sold items, Bright Star Antiques. requires that the arrangements for the pick-up or shipment of purchased items must be completed within 15 days of the auction unless other arrangements have been made. Please remember, once an item has sold, it is no longer covered by insurance and is stored at the owner's risk. A notice of 24 hours must be given before items are picked up. Bright Star Antiques reserves the right to charge a fee of $5 per day, per item, if not removed within 30 days from date of sale. Items not removed after 60 days, may at the discretion of Bright Star Antiques, be sold without notice to the original purchaser, to cover the cost of the merchandise and/or storage charges. Items are stored at the buyer's risk.
Gun Auctions-
To Bid on a Gun You must be able to pass a background check. To pass you can not have ever been convicted of a Felony.
To bid on a long gun you must be 18 years of age.
Please do not bid if you are unable to meet all requirements listed above
Buyers Premium
A charge of 23% buyers premium Plus 5% for live bidding going to Auctionzip will be added to the final bid price, and is payable by the buyer.
a 3% discount will apply with cash,wire or check payment
PAYMENT
Buyers Premium 28%. If payment is made directly to Bright Star Antiques with cash, wire or check a 3% discount will apply for a total BP of 25%
