Such was the script for the 1964 St. Louis Cardinals, who improved on their perennial contender status to capture a World Series that marked the end of the Yankee dynasty. Offered is an ONL (Giles) ball signed by 24 members of that year's Gateway City squad - including both of the above-mentioned Hall of Famers (the penning of since-retired Musial being a most welcome addition). This near-white sphere showcases black ballpoint signatures that show about "7-8" overall strength (with a few lesser).
