When placing a bid in our auction you are entering into a legal and binding contract. Winning bids must be paid for. When registering with a charge card, you are giving The Lodge Auction House, Inc. permission to use the charge card for an amount not greater than the total invoice amount. This may be charged anytime after the sale and until cleared funds are available. By placing your bids, you are agreeing to these terms. Please do not place bids if you are not planning to pay for the winning items.

Everything in our auctions is SOLD AS IS, RETURNS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED, NO EXCEPTIONS! All of our descriptions are written as accurately as possible, with all sizes approximate, and all apparent faults noted. Because of the volume of material we place in each of our sales, some descriptions may contain erroneous information or minor faults could be missed. In the event that our description is found to be inaccurate, The Lodge Auction House will not be held responsible. It would be in your best interest as a serious buyer, for yourself or a reliable representative come to our Gallery to preview the items in person, or at the very least, call us during preview hours so one of our representatives can look at the item while you ask specific questions.
You, the customers, are the experts. While our staff has a wide range of knowledge in the antiques and collectibles field, we cannot possibly have expertise in every specific category of collectible. PLEASE BE COMFORTABLE WITH THE ITEMS YOU ARE BIDDING ON, IF YOU HAVE ANY DOUBTS, WE PREFER THAT YOU DO NOT BID! This is not because we don't value your business, but more the fact that WE WANT HAPPY CUSTOMERS!
Any claims as to authenticity must be brought to the Auctioneer's attention within two weeks of auction closing. Lots may be withdrawn by auctioneer prior to sale without notice.
Estimates printed in our catalog reflect what we feel is a fair market value of said item(s). Terms for payment may be made for large purchases prior to bidding, kindly inquire for details. All items remain in custody of The Lodge Auction House, Inc. until payment is received in full. Please note group lots should be expected to be in mixed condition with items ranging from low grade to higher quality condition. Please ask for specific condition information before placing bids. Grading and conditions are subjective and should only be used as a basic guide to aid in your bidding.
New York State residents must add 8.75% sales tax unless you submit a valid resale certificate.
All domestic buyers are required to pay the proper shipping and handling cost including insurance, and international buyers are required to pay the proper insured air mail delivery cost. All items shipped outside the United States will be declared at full value for customs. The Lodge Auction House, Inc. is not responsible for any additional customs/duty taxes that may incur.
All buyers must confirm purchase within two (2) days of auction close. Actual payment must be received within five (5) days of auction close. Payment must be in US dollars only. Accepted forms of payment are as follows: bank check, bank wire transfer, personal check (must clear and must be drawn on a US bank), cashier's check, money order, MasterCard, Visa, cash (in house only), postal money order or Paypal (domestic only). International buyers may contact us via e-mail, phone or fax with credit card details.
Both domestic and international buyers may call us at 716-826-0168 Mon-Fri 10am-2pm (EST) and give us your credit card details. If you choose to e-mail your charge information, be sure to include the type of credit card, the entire card number, the complete expiration date, your name as it appears on the card, the issuing bank, and the security code. Local buyers may pick up items directly. Buyers of larger items, i.e. furniture, should contact us prior to bidding and arrange carrier service/pick up.
Bidding in this or in any of our sales constitutes acceptance by the bidder of all the above terms and conditions. The Lodge appreciates your business and interest in the items that are available for purchase. Remember, the educated buyers are our best customers!
Note: At all auctions, there is a 13% buyer's premium added to all lots won. We accept Visa, MasterCard, debit cards, bank transfers and postal money orders. Tax and shipping are additional.

This payment is then property of the Lodge Auction House and cannot be subject to a Chargeback at any time, for any reason.
ONCE YOUR CREDIT CARD IS CHARGED THERE ARE NO REFUNDS AND THE BUYER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR PAYMENT.
Payment
Cash is good for all items being picked up directly. Cashier Checks are accepted but only after the check clears will the items ship, as well as with bank transfers. If you are paying by credit card, you are consenting to the Lodge Auction House's NO REFUNDS, NO CHARGEBACKS Policy.

Items Sold As Is, Where Is - Inspect before you buy
The Lodge Auction House Inc. is not responsible for any items that are damaged during the shipping process. Any item that is received by the buyer that is not in the condition of the photographs of the auction are not the responsibility of The Lodge Auction House. All buyers can always make arrangements to pick up their items personally if they wish to avoid shipping.
