Lot 1268: 1834 Classic Head $5 Plain 4

Bright and frosty with a reasonably sharp strike on Liberty's curls and satin smooth surfaces. The fields are usually found bagmarked on this design, as the open fields rarely survive in such clean condition. Minor scuffs and handling marks are seen when closely examined, but this is a much nicer example that usually encountered. (PCGS 8171) Brilliant Uncirculated
