Description

Large 16" x 20" black and white photographic print by legendary Hollywood photographer Murray Garrett. Made directly from the original negative, this print is signed by Garrett.

Marilyn Monroe is pictured in this candid photo as she emerges from a car, wearing a strapless white gown and white fur coat at the December, 1954 premiere of director Walter Lang’s film "There’s No Business Like Show Business".

Murray Garrett worked as a professional photographer specializing in show business, first in New York in the early 1940's then in Hollywood from 1946 to 1973. He was sent on assignment by the best news magazines, including LIFE, TIME, and LOOK, and also worked privately for many directors, film executives, and stars on personal assignments.

Condition Report

Very light creasing to center/top of white "matte" area which would not be visible when framed. Photographic image shows very light indentations to bottom left corner with an approximately 1" crease to same area. Otherwise in very good condition.
