Original Pen & Ink Drawing [Zimmerman, Eugene.] Caricature of African-American couple. 7 1/4 x 11 1/4 inches (184 x 285 mm), on bd. For Judge Magazine, ca. 1886-1912. Unobtrusive production markings.
Known as "Zim," Eugene Zimmerman (1862-1935), one of the leading cartoonists of his era, worked for Puck & Judge magazines from 1883-1912, was founder & first president of The American Association of Cartoonists.
