Biography

The Rug Life LLC was founded by John and Sabrina Jureidini. The Jureidinis have been surrounded by luxurious Oriental and Persian rugs their entire lives. John’s Paternal Grandfather had an import/export business, based in Lebanon, that traded thousands of these rugs worldwide. The Rug Life LLC offers hand knotted rugs for auction, that are of the highest quality. The Rug Life LLC does the following; • Offer high end, hand knotted rugs with little or no “wear” issues. • All our rugs are sold “clean and ready to be enjoyed”. This means that we have cleaned them ourselves, had them professionally cleaned or that we acquired these rugs from established rug merchants, so they are clean when we got them. • We look for antique or semi-antique rugs. But we’ll offer newer rugs that are spectacular. • Upon purchase, we package your rugs and deliver them to the shipper of your choice. • We can allow you to inspect a rug through “facetime”, prior to your making a bid. • We have many of our rugs appraised. The appraisal is for “insurance replacement” value. You can figure out a retail price for any appraised rug by adding 50% to the appraised value. John Jureidini: John’s Paternal Grandfather had offices in Beirut, Manilla and New York for his import/export business that sold thousands or rugs worldwide. In fact, John’s Father was born in Beirut, his Aunt was born in Manilla and his namesake Uncle was born in New York! John’s Maternal Grandfather worked in the Whitehouse under President’s Roosevelt, Truman and Eisenhower (William “Frank” Proctor). John has served on the Board of Directors for his Alma Mater, Fishburne Military School in Waynesboro, VA for the past 5 years. John is currently the Vice President of this board, and The Rug Life LLC has donated several rugs to the school. Sabrina Chambrin Jureidini: Sabrina has a B.A. in communications from Webster University in Missouri. Sabrina’s Father was Executive Chef in the White House for President’s Bush and Clinton (Pierre Chambrin). Sabrina worked for 5 years under her Father at the St Louis Club, before leaving St Louis to marry John. The Jureidinis have worked on several, charitable causes. Most recently they headed up “Adopt A Family USVI”, which brought dozens of sea containers of hurricane relief supplies to the United States Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico. Sabrina appeared on “Good Morning America” on November 13th, 2017, to bring awareness regarding these relief efforts. And both have appeared on several local news stations. Their relief efforts were written about (or mentioned) in dozens of newspaper articles nationwide. They both grew in Northern Virginia. Growing up, Sabrina was the best friend with John’s youngest Sister, which is how they met. The Jureidinis live in Richmond, VA and have six children.
