Biography

Peter Estey Fine Art, established in 2018, is an auction house specializing in Canadian and International fine and folk art. Our mandate is to create a niche market for overlooked and idiosyncratic artists of importance, with an emphasis on Canadian art. We aim to educate and provide a platform for collectors to engage with works outside of the established Canadian canon.

We are the first auction house in Canada to implement the Artist’s Resale Right, providing artists and estates of artists with the recommended 5% of the hammer price.

We are always interested in buying or consigning quality Canadian art as well as select American and International works.
