John Nye has been involved with the auction business for over twenty-five years. He began working at one of New York's legacy houses where he most recently was a department head and Senior Vice President. For several years John has participated in PBS' Antiques Roadshow. He and his team hold approximately ten sales a year, receiving bids from all over the world, focusing primarily on estate property.

Nye & Company provides the full gamut of estate services, such as all types of fully illustrated appraisals. The public is encouraged to inquire about insurance, fair market, probate, charitable donation, and equitable distribution documents. Nye & Company's appraisals are completed in accordance with the highest industry standards. Nye & Company is also staffed to orchestrate home moves, estate sales, staging and donation of unsaleable items. Their consignments originate all over the east coast, but the majority originate from the tri-state area. Accurate and reliable appraisals depend on experienced specialists.
