Mossgreen is 100% Australian-owned and specialises in selling Single-Owner Collections comprising Fine Art, Australian Indigenous Art, Antiques and Collectables.

Collections often fetch much higher prices when kept together as a whole and Mossgreen has handled many of the most significant single-owner collections sold in Australia in recent years. Recent highlights include:

* The Collection of John & Marita McIntosh in Melbourne in October 2013, which set a new auction record for a rare set of books by Dumont D'Urville, selling for $228,000;

* The Collection of the Late Anne Lewis AO, conducted at the Art Gallery of NSW in 2012 and setting many new art auction records; and

* The Ray Mitchell & Julian Stirling Collection in Sydney in 2007 which achieved $4.5 million and set many new auction records for Chinese Art.
