Biography

Cooper Owen is the global leader in the sale of Music and Entertainment related collectables holding at least three live auctions annually together with regular online sales featuring lots to suit all budgets.

At our launch auction in July 2005 we achieved a world record price for a Beatles lyric with the sale of John Lennon's handwritten All You Need Is Love manuscript for a staggering £690,000 ($1.25m).

Our second successful auction was held at Madame Tussauds featuring props from the Sgt Peppers album cover. The waxwork Beatles' heads used on the cover of the album sold for £95,000 ($150,000) and in April 2006 Cooper Owen continued in this vein selling John Lennon's childhood school Anthology which realized £130,000 ($240,000).
