Biography

Barnes Auctions organise a regular live auction in Barnes SW London, usually at the Old Sorting Office Arts Centre. Most of the items come from the homes of residents in Barnes, Mortlake, Sheen, Richmond, Twickenham & Putney.


The auction is run as an enjoyable, accessible event, far removed from the 'stuffy or scruffy' atmosphere of some traditional auction houses. Children are most welcome.


Operating mainly in SW London, we are happy to come to you, assess your items and arrange for their sale either at one of our auctions or by other means.


We also attend antique / collectable fairs, make use of the internet and have a growing network of private and trade buyers.


We offer you a personal, time effective and low cost way to sell a wide range of items. Whatever your item, we will have a way to sell it for you.
