About Auctionata US

Biography

Since beginning in 2012 Auctionata has taken the market by storm with its revolutionary online selling strategy, broadcasting auctions regularly to a global audience from their state-of-the-art TV-studio and opening the process to provide even more competitive opportunities to buyers and bidders. With headquarters in Berlin and New York and offices in London, Madrid, Rome and Zurich, the German-based auction house is an international force with a clientele of over 140,000 customers interacting around the world from 130 countries. With deals in fine art, antiques, collectibles, and luxury goods, Auctionata is a new international ecommerce company quickly gaining reputation for its amazing service, transparent integrity and remarkable success in sales as the world's premiere online auction business.

Notable sales of Auctionata include a newly discovered Egon Schiele watercolor painting entitled “Reclining Woman”, with a starting price of $1.3 million and bidding close at $2.4 million, taking the record as highest grossing piece of fine art sold at an online auction. Another impressive example from June 2013 is the sale of a 1953 Patek Philippe Reference 2499 wristwatch for $611,000.

Services & Staff

Auctionata operates an international networked team of 250 experts, state-licensed auctioneers and highly experienced professionals who value, authenticate, and curate art objects from an exhaustive range of special categories. Auctionata has appraised and authenticated over 21,000 art items since its opening in February 2012. Behind Auctionata's patented real-time online auction show system is a diverse team of employees who value items, answer questions from potential buyers and sellers, and curate the shop. Before every auction streamed live on the internet from studio, Auctionata renders information for all items to be sold on its website. According to its inventors and founders, Zacke and Untersalmberger, this new patented technology of televised art selling was mainly developed to rival multinational auction houses so potential bidders are no longer physically required to physically attend auctions. The auctions are led by a licensed auctioneer and bids are accepted by phone, online, by absentee bid, as well as from the studio floor.

Follow Them Online

Auctionata is active across a great range of social media platforms with daily updates and can be easily followed online for convenience. Auctionata can be followed on Facebook for detailed descriptions of valuable items, while Youtube features original footage of art pieces filmed in the Auctionata studio. Both Twitter and Google Plus can be followed for consistent news on upcoming events, along with excellent examples of notable sale items, while Pinterest features extraordinary item photography.
