Biography

Welcome to the auction house and gallery ARTHOUSE HEJTMANEK. We established the auction house after more than 25 years of common life and work, and woke our house from 17th century from long slumber back to life.

The residency built in 17th century in Prague, the heart of Europe, is dignified home for art, antiquities and design nowadays. There can be found beautiful items that most people enjoy to be surrounded with and collect them from times immemorial.

We also succumbed to this noble disease, how we sometimes call "collecting", and we would like to share this need, joy and passion with others. We strongly believe that life would never be so rich and colourful without this joy. Our mission is to change the world into more noble, attractive and joyful place.

We believe that everyone can find in our gallery something for pleasure or collection. Maybe that one would just stop by and meet like-minded people and feel good here. You are welcome.

Vítejte v aukcním dome a galerii ARTHOUSE HEJTMÁNEK. Aukcní dum jsme založili po více jak 25 letech spolecného života i práce a probudili tak náš dum ze 17. století z dlouhého spánku opet k životu.

Sídlo postavené v 17. století v Praze, srdci Evropy, je nyní dustojným domovem pro umení, starožitnosti a design. Najdete zde krásné veci, kterými se vetšina lidí ráda obklopuje a sbírá je od nepameti.

I my jsme podlehli této ušlechtilé nemoci, jak nekdy „sberatelství“ nazýváme, a chce- me tuto potrebu, radost i vášen sdílet s ostatními. Pevne veríme, že bez této radosti by život nebyl tak bohatý a barevný. Udelat ze sveta trochu ušlechtilejší, hezcí a radostnejší místo bereme jako naše poslání.

Veríme, že každý si v naší galerii najde neco pro potechu, ci do své sbírky. Možná se i jen tak zastaví, potká podobne naladené lidi a bude se tu cítit dobre. Jste vítáni.
