Deborah Zlotsky Still Life Oil on Paper

Deborah Zlotsky (United States, 21st Century) framed and double matted under plexiglass oil on paper depicting a table top still life; signed and dated "Zlotsky 1986" in faint pencil to lower right. Inscription to the back of frame indicates this piece was given as a gift in 1989. White plastic frame measures 16-1/2" in height by 21-1/4" in width by 1-1/2" in depth; the sight image measures 8-1/4" in height by 11-1/2" in width. All measurements are approximate. Deborah Zlotsky is a teacher at the Rhode Island School of Design, and her drawings are in the curated flat files of Pierogi Gallery. Recent projects include solo shows at Robischon Gallery, Kathryn Markel Fine Arts, and the SACI Gallery at Studio Art Center International in Florence, Italy, as well as installation drawings at Providence College, Robischon Gallery, and the University of Connecticut. She has received residency fellowships at Yaddo, MacDowell Colony, the Saltonstall Foundation, VCCA, Ragdale Foundation and the Bemis Center for Contemporary Art, and in 2012 she received a New York Foundation for the Arts Fellowship in painting.
