Inscribed at the end of the scroll and signed by the artist: Nanhai Zhu Wan Two seals of the artist: Zhu Wan Zhi Yin, Bai Yue Shan Ren Dated seventh month, twenty-ninth year of the Wanli era (1601) One collector's seal Note: Zhu Wan, sobriquets Jimei and Baiyue Shanren, was a native of Guangzhou. He was known as a literary man, a poet, and an adept calligrapher, particularly of seal and clerical scripts.
