In a limited edition of 40, these prints are each signed, dated and numbered by the artist. One of the six lithographs was exclusively published by the artist in an edition of only five. Zhang takes ordinary objects from day to day life, such as for example drain pipes, and juxtaposes these with fine Chinese porcelain for which the country has been famous for Centuries. Printed on hand made paper these works become almost sensuous and the porcelain bowl, that was once just as much an ordinary object as its counterpart. All sheets are signed, dated and numbered. The six colored lithographs are in very good condition. The dimensions are 75 x 55 cm each. Each work is signed, dated and numbered in pencil. Chunbo Zhang (b. 1971) Chunbo Zhang was born in China in 1971. He graduated with a bachelor in printmaking from the Central Academy of Fine Arts in Beijing in 1994. In 2004 he finished his Masters in drawing, painting and printmaking at the Georgia State University in Atlanta, USA. In 2002 he received an award by the American College of Art and in 2003 he was awarded for outstanding achievements by the United States Atlanta South Cobb Arts Alliance. Herausgegeben in einer limitierten Auflage von 40 Stück sind die Druckgrafiken jeweils signiert, datiert und nummeriert, wobei es sich bei einem Blatt um eine Auflage von fünf Exemplaren handelt. Zhang stellt Objekte aus dem täglichen Gebrauch sowie zum Beispiel ein Abflussrohr mit feinem chinesischem Porzellan gegenüber und stellt einen Zusammenhang zwischen diesen her. Alle Blätter sind jeweils unten rechts in Bleistift signiert und datiert sowie nummeriert. Die sechs Farblithografien befinden sich in einem sehr guten Zustand. Die Blattmaße betragen jeweils 75 x 55 cm. Die Werke sind jeweils in Bleistift signiert, datiert und nummeriert. Chunbo Zhang (geb. 1971) Chunbo Zhang wurde 1971 in Shenyang, China geboren. Seinen Bachelor erhielt er im Jahre 1994 von der Central Academy of Fine Arts in Bejing im Bereich der Druckgrafik. Zehn Jahre später in 2004 erhielt er seinen Master in der Malerei und Druckgrafik an der Georgia State University in Atlanta, USA. 2002 erhielt er einen Award von dem American College of Art und 2003 erhielt er eine Auszeichnung für seine herausragende Arbeit von der United States Atlanta South Cobb Arts Alliance.
