Attributed to EUSEBIO ZARZA (Madrid, 1842-1881). "Court scene". Oil on canvas. It has slight losses.

      Est: €2,000 - €2,500

Attributed to EUSEBIO ZARZA (Madrid, 1842-1881). "Court Scene". Oil on canvas. It presents slight losses. Measurements: 89 x 73 cm; 105 x 88 cm (frame). Landscape scene in which the author presents a group of nobles, placed in a great garden that is closed in the last plane, by the presence of an architecture of palatial character. In the foreground we can appreciate a group of picturesque and popular characters, who not only represent the customs of the court, but also the role that each of them played, from the lady enraptured by the music, to the troubadour and the boy with the dog. The technical characteristics of the work bring us closer to the painting of Eusebio Zarza, who trained artistically at the Royal Academy of San Fernando in Madrid. During his career he devoted himself to painting, but also to engraving, an artistic field in which he achieved a great reputation.
